This page explains how to delete your Material Flow account (the MaterialFlow app by Rootlex) and what happens to your data when you do. Material Flow is a business tool: your account is created for you by your distributor, so deletion is handled as a request rather than an in-app button.
How to request deletion
- Email us. Send an email to materialflowsupport@rootlex.com with the subject “Delete my Material Flow account”, including the phone number you sign in with. We verify the request against that number before acting on it.
- Or ask your administrator.Your distributor's admin can deactivate your account from the app and forward the deletion request to us.
We confirm by reply once deletion is complete — normally within 30 days of the verified request.
What is deleted
- Your profile: name, sign-in phone number, role, and profile settings.
- Your sign-in credentials and active sessions.
- Device and push-notification tokens linked to your account.
What is kept, and for how long
- Business records.Orders, invoices, dispatch and stock records, and WhatsApp order conversations are the distributor's business records. They are retained for the distributor while its account is active and as required for legal and accounting purposes; they are no longer linked to your deleted profile.
- Backups. Copies in routine encrypted backups are purged on the normal backup cycle, within 90 days of deletion.
- Legal holds. We may keep specific records longer where the law requires it.
